Dr. Williams is a native of Cincinnati, OH where he attended the University of Cincinnati. In 2002, he graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine’s Physician Scientist Training Program. There he obtained his medical doctor (M.D.) as well as his doctorate of philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacology & Cell Biophysics. To obtain his Ph.D., Dr. Williams studied the regulation of neutrophil-mediated inflammation. During his tenure as a graduate student, he competed for and successfully received one of 10 fellowships from the Association for Academic Minority Physicians and one of 28 fellowships from the famed Howard Hughes Medical Institute. The quality of his research has won for him several national and local awards.


Dr. Williams completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine before relocating to Nashville, TN. There he founded the Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists of Nashville. For a brief period of time, Dr. Williams served as the Division Chief for Otolaryngology in the Department of Surgery at Meharry Medical College. He remains an Adjunct Associate Professor for the college.

In addition to being an excellent and compassionate surgeon, Dr. Williams is an avid singer and songwriter. He has recorded two independent CD projects that consist of all original songs: “Choices” and “Beauty of Holiness.” His passion for singing compelled him to found the Voice Care Center of Nashville where he provides outstanding medical and surgical care for performance and professional voice users, or anyone who is having voice problems.

Dr. Williams is a devoted husband and father. He and his wife, Darice, have three children: Demarcus (1993), Aaron (1997) and Courtney (2006). They believe strongly in service to God and to community. They are members of the Oasis Worship Center.

 
 

Dr. Thomas Holzen has been in the private practice in Nashville, TN, since 1979, in the specialty of Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery.

After growing up in Pennsylvania, Dr. Holzen studied at Yale University and received a B.A degree in History of Science. He then went to Tufts University School of Medicine, in Boston, graduation with his M.D degree with honors. He spent two years in internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt. After two years with the U.S Marine Corps, he then studied General Surgery and completed a residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Texas in San Antonio.

He also did a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery in Alabama. In practice, he sees all age groups with head and neck problems, and has a special interest in nose and sinus problems.

 

 

Jana has enjoyed working with patients for the last 16 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 1993 from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA. She worked as an RN in the Neonatal ICU and Pediatric ICU until going back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. In 1999 she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Yale School of Nursing in New Haven, CT. After moving to Nashville in 1999 she has work at Vanderbilt School of Nursing and Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital as Nurse Educator, Nurse Researcher and a Nurse Practitioner. In 2006 she moved to private practice working in Allergy. She specializes in the use of Sublingual Immunotherapy or Allergy Drops.

This is a convenient and safe alternative to allergy shots for very allergic people. Jana enjoys spending time with her husband Scott and her dogs and cats. She also enjoys painting, traveling, sewing, gardening and decorating.
 
 
Pamala A. Pannell is the Director of Audiology at Pro-Audiology of Nashville. She received a Masters of Audiology from the University of Mississippi in Oxford. She is committed to providing quality personalized hearing health care services for the identification, prevention and nonmedical rehabilitation of hearing loss using the most advanced marketed technology. She has earned the reputation for excellent patient care and takes pride in the quality of services offered to patients with hearing and balance problems.

She is licensed to practice Audiology in Tennessee, a Member and has earned the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association. Pamala specializes in Diagnostic Audiology, Vestibular Testing and Hearing Instruments. Her passion is offering only the highest quality hearing care and Hearing Aid Technology available with impeccable service, follow-up care and counseling. Her professional experience and interest also includes Pediatric and Educational Audiology and Universal Newborn Hearing Screening. She serves as Consulting Audiologist for Meharry Medical College, Department of Pediatrics and is a privileged provider with the Hospital Authority for Nashville General Hospital.

Pamala enjoys traveling, sports, interior design, mentoring and community outreach for Single Parents and Youth. She is a volunteer with Women of Destiny, International and Habitat for Humanity.
 
I am Darice, the Business Manager and Biller for the Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists of Nashville. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s of Science in Urban Planning with special emphasis on Health Services Administration.

I enjoy reading, shopping and reaching out to others. Mostly, I enjoy spending time with my husband and lovely children. We are members of Oasis Worship Center where I volunteer as a coordinator for the children’s nursery.








 
 
I am Quinesha, the Business Operations Manager for the Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists of Nashville. I am a very self motivated individual who loves to perform my job while helping others. I am also an Independent Sales Representative with AVON.

Some of my hobbies will include running my at-home business, listening to music and watching television. My favorite pass-time is spending time with my family and friends.

My name is Ligia and I have the pleasure to work as a bilingual medical assistant with the family of Ears Nose and Throat Specialists of Nashville.

I’ve explicitly enjoyed working with Dr. Williams because time has flown by like nothing, and I must admit it has been rewarding from the very first time I set foot in this office.

I am a spontaneous, independent and self motivated woman who loves to strive for personal goals. I am very determined and even though some of my goals have not have been accomplished yet, they will eventually shine through.

Some of my hobbies include writing poetry, listening to music, decorating my home and cooking. I love to cook and try new recipes.

Hello, my name is Brittany l am a Medical Assistant here at ENTSON. I graduated from Medvance Institute in 2010. I did my internship here at was hired shortly after. I have enjoyed working here and have a strong passion for helping others better their health.

My job duties would include: preparing patients for the providers to see, assisting in office procedures, and performing test. My job is fulfilling and rewarding.

Some of my hobbies would include: shopping, going to the movies with friends, walking in the park and traveling. Besides being a nurse my next passion would be animals, I have a big heart for animals. I am a big music fan I listen to several different types so I don't have a favorite.

Hello. My name is Gloria and I am a Medical Receptionist with the ENTSON family. I am a native Ohioan but for the past 11 years, Nashville has become my home. I have a degree in Communications from the International College of Broadcasting in Dayton, Ohio and 2 year certification from World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio.

My background includes years of patient and customer relations in various settings including: medical and corporate offices, call centers and nonprofit organizations – just to name a few.
My interests include singing gospel music as a soloist, member of my church's worship team and as a part of a band. I also enjoy public speaking and ministry.

My desire is to greet everyone who walks through the doors at ENTSON with warm and friendly service that includes excellence, professionalism, enthusiasm and compassion to ensure a great experience - every time.
 
 
My name is Rania, I am one of the Medical Receptionists with the ENTSON family. I am the newest employee to this practice and have enjoyed my time here thus far. I am originally from Egypt but I have lived in the states for 14 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Austin Peay University.

Some of my duties here at ENTSON would include: answering phones, verifying insurances, and check patients in and out.

My interest would be photography I enjoy design and making photo books. Most of my free time is spent with my niece Emma. I love babies and am looking forward to my new niece in April.

Hi! My name is Shellie and I am one of the Medical Assistants here with the ENTSON family. I am the youngest member of the family and have enjoyed working at ENTSON. I attended Riverdale High School and graduated in 2009. Shortly after high school I attended Remington College and graduated with a degree in Medical Assistant in February 2010.

Some of my job duties include: triaging patients, assisting with procedures and allergy treatment. My passion would have to be allergy treatment. I enjoy allergy testing because it gives me business experience as well as responsibility and the most important part it gives the patient knowledge about what they are allergic to.

I will be returning to school in 2011 with my goal of becoming a successful Registered Nurse. I hope to see you soon here at ENTSON.

I have three beautiful girls and a wonderful fiancé. I love watching movies and going on road trips with my family. I am especially good at putting together puzzles and am computer savvy. One of my dreams is to tour Europe and Egypt.
